If itch.io is the shop window, patreon.com/sgthale is the warehouse: the official Family Time demo and the freshest development videos both live here. The official itch page says so directly — "Play the official demo at https://www.patreon.com/sgthale" — and even the developer's "latest content" shortlink (tinyurl.com/fmlytm) resolves to this page, verified by redirect on October 13, 2026.
Do you need to pay? No — not for Episode 2
The creator's public page copy is explicit:
"Join for free or become a member for just $1/month."
The official devlog made Episode 2 free on October 9, 2026, and the entry images route here. A free membership is enough to grab it. What the paid tiers unlock beyond that sits behind the login wall, so this page won't enumerate perks it can't verify — the honest summary is: free gets you the demo, $1/month is the entry price for supporting the dev with whatever extras the tiers currently carry.

Why the demo lives here
Patreon is sgthale's development hub, not just a tip jar:
- Dev videos land here first. The itch.io DevBlogs are, in the developer's own words, reposts of "several weeks old" videos — the fresh ones are Patreon posts (visible titles run to "Family Time Development Part 11 - Breeding Behaviors and Cooking!").
- The demo distribution runs through post entries, which is why the download steps involve scrolling the creator page.
- Development series — the numbered "Development Part N" posts track systems like breeding behaviors and cooking before they hit public devlogs.
Scale, as of October 13, 2026
Public counters at capture: 99,827 members, 568 posts, and a monthly figure around $46,650 — numbers that moved fast in 2026 and will be stale soon, which is exactly why this hub dates them instead of treating them as facts of the game. The same creator ran ~3,400 members in late 2024; Family Time is what changed.
One note: the business email on the Patreon (panainodev@gmail.com) is the developer's contact — not this fan site's.
